TOBB Chairman M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu mentioned in his speech at Industrial Organizations Sectoral Performace Evaluation Meeting, East Marmara Region is Turkey's economical dynamo.

In Sectoral Performance Awards that was hold by Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce, while Kromel Makine Sanayi got the grand prize in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises section, Kanca El Aletleri Dovme Celik and Machine Sanayii A.S. got the grand prize in Large Sized Enterprises section. Besides, Sustainability Award goes to Anlas Anadolu Labtik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., which is a large sized companies settled in Duzce. As a Small and Medium Sized Enterprise, Tekom Elektrik Elektronik Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Sti. got Jury's Special Award.

With the aim of awarding the successful companies that are settled in East Marmara Region, the award ceremony was hold in 2 categories as Medium Sized Enterprises and Large Sized Enterprises according to the results of "Industrial Enterprises Above-the-Line Sectoral Performance Evaluating Organization"; under the leadership of Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce, with the partnership of PwC Turkey, East Marmara ABIGEM A.S., East Marmara Development Agency, CNN Turk and coordination with Chamber of Commerces in Bolu, Duzce, Sakarya, Yalova.

"2011 Sectoral Performance Evaluating Award" ceremony was arranged in Gural Sapanca Otel and TOBB Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu, Kocaeli Governor Ercan Topaca, Sakarya Governor Mustafa Buyuk, Yalova Governor Esengul Civelek, Kocaeli University President Prof. Dr. Sezer Sener Komsuoglu, Sakarya University President Prof, Dr, Muzaffer Elmas, Yalova Universitesi President Prof. Dr. Niyazi Eruslu, Sakarya Chamber of Commerce Chairman Mahmut Kosemuslu, Bolu Chamber of Commerce Chairman Emin Semercioglu, Duzce Chamber of Commerce Chairman Metin Buyuk, Yalova Chamber of Commerce Chairman Celal Ozel, Korfez Chamver of Commerce Chairman Mustafa Efe, Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce Deputy Chair Burhan Kasim, TOBB Board Members Husnu Unal, Ilhan Paksever and businessmen attended the award ceremony.
